Payment Links

Payment links are a versatile tool offered by GOPayments that enables merchants to create customized payment URLs for their customers. With payment links, merchants can easily share payment requests through email, social media, or messaging platforms. Customers can then make payments conveniently by clicking on the provided link. This integration simplifies the payment process and enhances the customer experience.

Create Your Account

You need a GOPayments account for managing and saving your crypto assets. You can create your GOPayments account free at this link (Just need an email and sign up in less than 1 minute):

Create GOPayments Account

On the Payment link page (you can find it in your GOPayments dashboard menu), you can view the details of your payment link and manage all your payment links in one place.

  1. Enter Payment Link Name

    • Enter a desired name for your payment link, which should be between 3 to 30 characters long, in the "Name" field.
    • This name will help you identify the payment link in your dashboard.
  2. Specify Payment Amount

    • Enter the payment amount in the "Amount" field.
    • You can set amounts in various fiat currencies (USD, EUR, etc.) or cryptocurrency amounts.
  3. Choose Accepted Cryptocurrencies

    • In the "Accepted Cryptocurrencies" section, select which cryptocurrencies you want to accept.
    • You can manually select specific coins or click on "Select All" to choose all supported cryptocurrencies.
    • Supported networks include: Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, TON, Arbitrum One, and BNB Smart Chain.
  4. Configure Underpaid Tolerance

    • In the "Underpaid Tolerance" section, you can set a percentage between 0 to 5%.
    • If the payer submits a payment that is slightly less than or equal to the underpaid amount, the invoice will still be accepted.
    • This helps handle minor price fluctuations in cryptocurrency markets.
  5. Fee Configuration

    • If you enable "Fee paid by payer", your customer will cover all the network fees for this payment.
    • By default, fees are deducted from the received amount.
  6. Add Description

    • Provide additional information or description about your payment link in the "Description" field.
    • This helps customers understand what they're paying for.
  7. Create Payment Link

    • Finally, click on "Create Payment Link" to generate your desired payment link.
    • You'll receive a unique URL that you can share with your customers.

  5. Set Reasonable Tolerance: Use underpaid tolerance to handle market fluctuations

For Customers:

Troubleshooting

Common Issues:

  1. Payment Not Received: Check if the correct network was used
  2. Wrong Amount: Verify the payment amount and currency
  3. Link Not Working: Ensure the payment link is active and not expired
  4. High Fees: Consider using networks with lower fees like Solana or BNB Smart Chain
